Day 3

Well, today was a bit of a hard day on all of us. 1) I seem to wake up hours before I need too (the rest of the family I think is now on China time). 2) We start our tours early in the morning and go ALL day, and went until late last night. Today was Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace, and a traditional tea ceremony.

3) I had a hard time with lunch today, so I didn't get the boost I was really needing.

4) The boys I think hit a delirious wall today, which can be very taxing on a person already not in their best mind. :( To their credit...they did an unbelievable amount of walking, and listening to a bunch of stuff they don't care about (much less understand).

5) The "toilet situation". I think the picture says enough!

Tonight is our last night in Beiging. We leave tomorrow morning on the fast train at 8:00 (this means we have to leave our hotel at 6:30 am) for Hangzhou. We will finally be in the same province as our daughter. We are a little nervous about what we can expect once we arrive at the train station in Hangzhou, because our agent said they had a request to change "Gotcha Day" to Sunday at 2 pm...our train does not arrive until 2:30 pm. :-/ The last we heard they decided to go ahead and let the other families get their children, and we would keep to the original schedule of Monday. I just don't like the not knowing for sure. There are many things to get ready before we go get her, and that would make things very difficult to get any of it ready before hand.

So tonight we pack, and pray for a really good nights sleep.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who put their hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings as eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint.

We can't wait for you to get here! Things have changed and it seems that we won't be getting our Hangzhou babies until Monday either.

I can't imagine really how exhausted your bodies must feel, but glad you are getting to see lots of things. The boys might appreciate some of what they have seen later. Praying for good sleep and can't wait to see you all with Little Hannah! Will continue to pray the timing and that it all works out. I am scared about the toilet! Lots of thoughts come to mind, but I will not share! :) Love hearing from you! It is weird not to be able to call you up or text you!
Tell the boys hello from all of us!
